Creative Programs for Neurodivergent Students in Wisconsin
Using art, creativity, and digital creative technologies to spark connection, self-confidence, encourage independence in neurodiverse individuals.
Islands of Brilliance…a Place to Thrive
Let’s explore together! Founded in Milwaukee by parents of a neurodivergent child, IOB has learned that neurodiverse students learn better and engage more when they are encouraged to learn and share through the exploration of their special interests.
IOB uses creative projects, specifically digital graphic software, as our playground. Our programs encourage students to grow their intrinsic capabilities and practice communication, increasing their likelihood of independence as adults. Our programs:
Are created for neurodivergent youth as young as 8 and through the young adult years.
Offer a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment.
Engage students in creative projects that celebrate THEIR interests.
Provide a mix of opportunities spanning different skill sets, needs, and objectives.
