Program Description
Here's your student's chance to take their creativity beyond two dimensions!
Students will be introduced to 3D Blender – a free web-based software – as they work one-on-one with a mentor online via Zoom. Over the course of 6 hours, students learn the basics of the craft used in many industries, including gaming, architecture, movie production, engineering, and commercial advertising.
Week #1 (tech week) kicks off with an introduction to their mentor and an overview of the technical aspects of Blender software. The remaining workshops feature software instruction, collaboration, and creation alongside their mentor. The final week culminates with an in-class virtual presentation and celebration of the students' work.
