Kadkijiha is a proud graduate of Alverno College with a BA in Marketing Communications. She worked for a few creative agencies in Milwaukee as an Account Executive before leaping into entrepreneurship. It was through her business, Brush Box where I was first introduced to IOB.
Brush Box was selected as a vendor for Colors + Chords 2021. Through that amazing experience and her expertise in marketing strategies, she officially joined the Islands’ team. As the Program Coordinator and Entrepreneur in Residence, her role on the team is the communication liaison between the education, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the effective and smooth implementation of all programs. By managing internal processes she is constantly challenging the team to improve software efficiencies.
Her passion is community work. Lately, she has immersed herself in art expression. Through Brush Box, she is able to use art as a modality for healing of self and community.
