An avid fan of the art of drag, their chapter on trans and non-binary contestants was published in the anthology Why Are We All Gagging? The Cultural Impact of RuPaul's Drag Race, distributed by University of Chicago Press.

Currently, they reside in northern Wisconsin with their silver lab, River.
